Exciting Updates and Upcoming Talks - AOS Recap

I'm excited to share some news and updates with you all — Let's dive right in!

First, let's recap the fantastic talks we recently had the pleasure of hosting and taking part in.

Dr. Alfi had the opportunity to share his expertise on a variety of topics, including the benefits of Orthognathics/Double Jaw Surgery at the Sleep Conference & AAPMD meeting in Houston, Texas.
AOS also had its very own DSD coordinator, Carla Gonzalez speak on DSD planning & the power of integrating dentistry with Orthognathic surgery.
The discussions were engaging, and we received excellent feedback from attendees who found the talks both informative and inspiring.

Next, we're pleased to announce that we recently broke our record for double jaw surgery yet again. Just last week, Dr. Alfi & Dr. Farahi recorded a 48 minute double jaw surgery from open to close. With traditional methods, double jaw surgery averages between 6-8 hours. However, with the use of custom plates and state of the art technology, Dr. Alfi is able to achieve record breaking time with less time under anesthesia, no drains, no foley, no scarring or wiring of the mouth shut. Dr. Alfi is able to achieve maximal optimal outcome in such groundbreaking time because the revolutionary protocol amplifies efficiency achieving swiftness without rushing.

In other news, we are excited to announce that Dr. Alfi will be traveling to Miami this weekend for consults. He will be meeting with individuals who are seeking transformative solutions to their sleep apnea, TMJ & other Orthognathic concerns. It's always a privilege to connect with patients, understand their unique needs, and discuss personalized treatment plans. Dr. Alfi is looking forward to this trip and the opportunity to make a positive impact on their lives.

Looking ahead, we have some exciting talks coming up that you won't want to miss. If you are a Columbia resident or fellow in LA, we will be hosting a lecture accompanied by dinner in the Beverly Hills area. Dr. Alfi will be speaking on the benefits of Jaw Surgery for airway enhancement. Still working out the details, Dr. Alfi is looking to host this talk mid to late June 2023.
